The Tunisian biomass pellet fuel processing plant (with an annual output of 50,000 tons) uses traditional coal-fired hot air furnaces to dry sawdust, straw and other raw materials, facing problems such as high energy consumption, heavy pollution, and unstable temperature control. After the technical transformation, the biomass hot air furnace + high-efficiency heat exchange system was introduced to achieve fuel self-sufficiency, energy conservation and emission reduction, and improved drying quality.
Advantages of biomass hot air furnace
1. Fuel self-circulation, reducing operating costs
Directly burning the screening crushed materials and dust (accounting for 10%~15% of the raw materials) generated by the production line, the fuel cost is reduced by 40% compared with coal.
2. Accurate temperature control to improve drying efficiency
The hot air temperature is stable at 200±5℃ to avoid over-drying or coking of biomass raw materials. It is equipped with a multi-stage heat exchanger, and the thermal efficiency is increased to 85% (only 60% of the original system), and the drying time is shortened by 25%.
3. Intelligent control, stable operation
Based on moisture content detection, it automatically adjusts the feed amount, wind temperature, and wind speed to adapt to different biomass raw materials (wood chips, rice husks, palm shells, etc.), warns of coking, blockage and other problems, and reduces maintenance costs by 30%.
